Fully-funded resources and webinar - Tricky Friends: The role of RSHE in preventing Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE)

Fully-funded CPD and resources to help schools teach about and prevent child criminal exploitation (CCE) through relationships education, relationships and sex education and Health Education (RSHE).

The Norfolk Safeguarding Children's Partnership (NSCP) have produced an animated film suitable for KS2/3 to help children and young people identify and respond to potentially unhealthy and risky relationships that may be linked to CCE.

This webinar will be delivered by Josie Rayner-Wells; Senior Adviser, Learning and Inclusion and supported by members of the Education Safeguarding Team.

Attendance at this interactive webinar will provide attendees with:

  • Knowledge how to create safe learning environments for effective teaching and learning about CCE
  • Access to the 'Tricky Friends' RSE Resource; providing a developmental curriculum, with supporting resources
  • Collaboration with colleagues to identify approaches to using the newly launched NCSP 'tricky friends' animated resource
  • Greater awareness of the services and support available to schools in addressing CCE

Delegates will receive access to the animated film and a RSHE teaching resource, helping them to use the animated film as part of their RSHE curriculum.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions, however if all of these cannot be answered during the 60 minutes, then a member of the Safeguarding Team will get in touch with delegates via email following the webinar.
