Free! University led Virtual Conference for TAs: March 30th 10am-12.50pm

Responses to our Norfolk CPD Survey demonstrated that 41.4% of schools and colleges surveyed identified TA Training as a clear priority. As such, we are pleased to offer Norfolk TAs the opportunity to virtually attend The University of Bedfordshire's 2nd Regional Conference for Teaching Assistants, 'The Value of Teaching Assistants', on March 30th, 10am-12.50pm at no cost to settings.

Outline of the conference

Following a shared welcome at 10am, the conference provides two key notes:

10.15-10.35 1st Keynote: Teaching Assistants - helpful or not? What does the research say? Dr James Shea

12.30-12.50 2nd Keynote: Adaptation and differentiation - is there a difference? Dr Gareth Bates

In between the keynotes, there will be the opportunity to participate in two 45-minute workshop sessions, with a total choice of 14 different workshops to attend.

If multiple TAs are able to attend, why not cover all workshops of interest, and feedback over coffee and cake?

See the attached PDF for the full conference programme, including all links to join.
