Last September saw the national rollout of the Early Career Framework (ECF) reforms, a key part of the Department for Education's response to 22% of NQTs who qualified in 2015 leaving the state sector two years later.

The implementation of the ECF affects how we plan our staffing, with the new roles to support ECTs requiring protected time and training.
