Assessment Only Route into Teaching and Gaining QTS
There are still a limited number of places available on the Assessment Only route for September 2022.
The AO route is designed for instructors with significant experience (at least two years), as an unqualified teacher, and who are eligible to gain QTS without undertaking an initial teacher training programme. Candidates can be assessed in one of the following age ranges, 3-7, 5-11, 7-11, 11-16 or 14-19. The programme runs for a maximum of three months.
