Newly revised Norfolk Steps programme and launch event!

Norfolk Steps is located with the Learning and Inclusion Team and works closely with other services to champion inclusion.

The Inclusion and SEND Team at Norfolk County Council is delighted to announce a newly revised Steps programme!

What's included in the new subsidised Steps programme for Norfolk schools

  • New modular digital STEP On CPD for all staff in your school to access over the next two years - this will enable your staff to have updated content that can be delivered flexibly according to their roles and your bespoke needs.
  • Trained Steps Lead Professional - this will help you embed an effective provision of Steps, consistently promoting positive behaviours throughout your school. This includes an option for the role to extend to become a Step Up Lead Professional for your school (including an annual refresher), ensuring you have internal resources to draw upon where there are pupils identified as needing restrictive physical intervention
  • 10 optional Inclusion and SEND themed Steps webinars and surgery-style network sessions - these will provide access to expertise relevant to emerging and increasing needs, for example EBSA, and ASD etc.
  • Bespoke guidance for your school from our Steps team - ensuring you have ongoing access to the skills and expertise of our team.

You are invited to attend our fully funded digital launch event!
