Transforming the Norfolk Landscape: An opportunity to have your say

Earlier this term Sara Tough Executive Director of Children's Services wrote to education colleagues to share plans for two major programmes to deliver against Norfolk Priorities and to encourage you to have your say.

We want to work with you as partners to make sure the highest value themes are identified for us to address together. We need to hear your views, and the views of your teams, to ensure that the work we do together is the right work, in the right areas, at the right time.

We have posed some key questions and are inviting you to share your views Learning Strategy - Have Your Say.
  • To what extent do you feel the ambition, themes & workstreams will tackle the issues Education settings & communities have?
  • What could be added to make these themes more reflective of your community's needs?
  • Are there any specific pieces of work that we should undertake in these workstreams?
  • What existing pieces of work or approaches are proving effective and which we should look to build on or expand?
  • How can the Local Authority support work within zones?
  • What are the barriers to a Learning Strategy being successful?
  • Which themes should the County Council prioritise resources towards?

We also would like to invite colleagues to have individual conversations with us. If you would like to talk to us to share your views, please contact victoria.groom@norfolk.gov.uk or jonathan.nice@norfolk.gov.uk.

We look forward to working much more closely together to help all Norfolk children and young people to flourish.
