Norfolk Vision for children and young people with SEND

This document includes the vision for children and young people with SEND in the Norfolk Area SEND Strategy and the principles set out within Children's Service's Local First Inclusion programme.

The purpose of this document is to ensure our existing vision and strategies align and lead to positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND, building upon the ambitions established in the Flourishing in Norfolk Strategy.

This will form the foundation of activity in the Local First Inclusion Programme that aims to promote a shared understanding of effective SEND support and a Norfolk commitment to developing high quality provision which enables all children and young people with SEND to Flourish.

The Norfolk Area SEND Strategy vision and priorities were co-produced and have been agreed through the Children and Young People's Strategic Alliance. An updated vision for SEND in Norfolk will be co-produced with children and young people, parent and carer organisations and Norfolk's education providers by the end of 2023. This will be led by the Norfolk Area SEND and Alternative Provision Strategy (NASAPS) group (previously the Norfolk Area SEND Strategy - NASS).
