Schools Business Continuity plan
It is a requirement for all schools to have a Business Continuity plan which is updated regularly and exercised on an annual basis.
Local Authority schools can access the Business Impact Analysis template, and the Business Continuity Plan template via a link to the mySchool section of the website.
Schools need to ensure they can act swiftly in the event of an incident impacting part of the school premises, a failure of one of their suppliers, an intruder gaining access to their building, a bomb threat or other incident which could cause significant impacts to school life.
