Anti-Bullying Week 2023: Make A Noise About Bullying

It's Anti-Bullying Week 2023: Make A Noise About Bullying Monday 13 to Friday 17 November!

Anti-Bullying Week 2023 will take place from Monday 13 - Friday 17 November. The theme is 'Make A Noise About Bullying'.

Anti-Bullying Alliance are official organisers of Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and their resources can be found here.

Anti-Bullying Week is an opportunity to remind everyone whether it's in school, at home, in the community or online, we can bring an end to bullying. Schools will be able to download free teaching resources and themed assemblies. These will focus on the activities we can take to encourage children and young people to consider what bullying means to us, how banter can turn into something more hurtful, and what we can do to stop bullying.

Use this exciting event to promote inclusion and equality within your school and develop sustainable whole-school improvement.

Whether you have limited time, and just need some posters and assembly ideas, or you are looking to launch a whole-school approach with pupils empowered to lead, we have something for you!

You will be able to access our Padlet of resources, with everything you need at your fingertips!

Join our RSHE Thematic Webinar: Anti-Bullying Week | Norfolk Services for Schools twilight webinar on Tuesday 17th October for lots of ideas and support to use the resources to achieve maximum impact.

Attendance will enable delegates to:

  • Learn more about Anti-Bullying Week 2023, including how this links to guidance and legislation, including equalities and British Values.
  • Be able to measure and evidence impact towards whole-school improvement and Ofsted judgements.
  • Access a Padlet of pre-prepared resources, that can be used as standalone activities, or to develop a whole-school approach.
  • Know how to identify and provide targeted support to children, young people and their families.

All our content is suitable for primary and secondary schools.

If you have celebrated this event previously, or have some ideas to share with other schools, please contact us so we can practice share this as widely as possible, making the biggest difference possible to all our Norfolk children and young people.
