Psycho-Education Group for Autistic Girls
Help for Psychology will be running two free of charge groups for girls aged 12-17. One group will be aimed towards girls aged 12-14 and the other will be aimed towards girls aged 15-17.
The groups are designed to guide young girls in uncovering challenges, embracing strengths, and acquiring valuable tools and skills to navigate adolescence on the spectrum. This will be through a blend of fun activities and psychological tools to facilitate group learning.
There will be 8 sessions in total, each one lasting for 1.5 hours and taking place at The Grange, Spixworth Road. The groups are expected to start between January/February 2024 and there will be up to 8 members in each group.
