Primary Teachers Learning Preview of 'The Art of Faith' Exhibition
Wednesday 6th October 2010, 4pm - 6pm
Teachers are invited to a private gallery view of 'The Art of Faith' Exhibition which celebrates the long history of religious diversity in Norfolk. It brings together rare and beautiful religious objects from the Bronze Age to the present day - including paintings, sculptures, illuminated manuscripts, prayer books, religious vestments, film and photographic work.
There are primary and secondary teaching and learning activities both at the exhibition and on the website. This is a one of its kind exhibition and is inspirational in exploring how art and RE have been connected throughout British history - cross-curricular with bells on! The Learning Preview will explore ways forward for pupils and teachers and the follow up opportunities in schools.
