Primary Schools - Funding and Support through the Primary Strategy Standards Fund 2010 - 2011

All primary phase schools should have received their allocated Primary Strategy Standards funding in their period 06-11 download. As outlined in letters to Headteachers in July, the local authority has received the standards fund grant to support raising standards, improve teaching and learning and the use of assessment for the academic year 2010 to 2011.

Schools, if they wish, may use this funding to purchase an adviser for literacy or mathematics or to book staff onto the training available in the 'Raising Standards - Training & Development Programme', which can be viewed via the link above.
