ZAP Assertiveness Training - 20th January 2011

We are offering ZAP assertiveness training to professionals from organisations/schools on the 20th January 2011 at at the Woodside Centre, Witard Road, Norwich, NR7 9XD between 1.30 - 3.30 pm. The training is to teach children and young people (aged 9 years +) the assertiveness skills to deal with bullying (although it does not exclusively have to be to do with bullying). This is the same training that Kidscape charges schools for and is currently free to those who attend. However this is not a course just to be informed about the skills and there is an expectation that any adult attending will either (a) provide individual/group ZAP assertiveness training to young people in their organisation or (b) train others in the skills within their organisation which they can then use. Please do not think about attending just to learn about the programme - We want people to provide young people with the skills.

Would you please draw this to the attention of staff in your organisation and ask them if they want to attend to contact rita.adair@norfolk.gov.uk. Click on the above information about ZAP along with a map of how to find the Woodside Centre. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT THE NORWICH PDC ON WOODSIDE ROAD. WE ARE BASED ON WITARD ROAD. FOR INFO PARKING IS LIMITED AND YOU MAY NEED TO PARK ON THE ROAD.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
