Recipe Competition

A message from The Aquila Club from Kinsale Junior School, Norwich to the Headteachers of all Infant/Junior/Primary and Special schools (children aged 5-11)

We are the Aquila Club from Kinsale Junior School in Hellesdon, Norwich. We are a small group of children that meet once a week before school.

This year our challenge is to create a 'Norfolk Children's Healthy Cookbook'. This will be filled with recipes from well known Norfolk people and recipes from Norfolk school children. The children's recipes will be selected by holding a competition. The Aquila Club would like all Infant/Junior/Primary and Special School Headteachers with children aged 5-11 years old to discuss and show the competition flyer with their children in assembly and to encourage them to take part. All the profits from the cookbook will be donated to Air Ambulance. The Aquila Club is being supported by Norse.

We unfortunately did not have enough room on the flyer to include what all the prizes are. As well as the overall winning recipe prize of a digital camera, our six prizes for the six top recipes in each of the eight categories are as follows:
Copies of our board game 'Norfolk's Fine Food', £10 John Lewis vouchers, £5 Roys vouchers, Odeon and Hollywood cinema tickets.

We really hope your children will want to take part and your school will be featured in our cookbook.

Thank you for your support.
