Healthy Schools - Closure of National Website
The national Healthy Schools website will be closing in its current format from the end of March. As reported in a recent e-courier Healthy Schools in Norfolk will continue and we are working to streamline and simplify the processes for our schools and to meet local needs. We will communicate more about what is planned shortly.
All schools working to achieve National Healthy School Status have until the 28th March to complete the online audit tool in order to apply for status.
For those schools that are part way through completing the Annual Review Tool or the Health and Well-being Tool (HWIT) our recommendation is not to add any more data at this stage. None of your current data will be lost however as after 11th March the national team will transfer all your existing data into the new (simpler) planning templates and send them to you at school to save for future use. This will be sent to the school email address given by registered users when they log on to the website. For security reasons this data cannot be sent to personal email addresses so if you have used a personal email address to log on to the site you will need to amend it to a school address before March 10th. If you use an office@ address you may wish to alert the school office to look out for these emails in mid March and to ensure the documents are saved.
In the meantime you can still contact the team on the usual numbers or via emailing Adele Godsmark or calling on 01603 221812 and you will find a range of information, guidance and resources on the Healthy Schools pages on the Norfolk Schools website. (These pages will continue to be updated over the coming weeks).
