Healthy Norfolk Schools Is Still Here!

Despite rumours to the contrary, the Healthy Norfolk Schools Programme will continue to provide support for schools on issues relating to health and well-being. This will include maintaining National Healthy Schools Status as well as moving on to address school and local priorities as part of school improvement planning. We will be delivering a range of training and support to meet identified local need.
Schools will have received an invitation from Schools4Life to subscribe to services they are offering schools who have been participants in the national Healthy Schools Programme. One aspect of this service is to store information that schools may have submitted to the National Healthy Schools website as part of their development work for Healthy School Status.
Schools will make their own judgements about the value and appropriateness of what is being offered but we feel that we should point out that what is being offered by Schools4Life is not a continuation of the National Healthy Schools Programme.
At this stage we would like to remind you of the local fully funded support that will be available before Norfolk schools take up the offer from Schools4Life.
We will be contacting all schools with details of our programme shortly. If you have any questions or would welcome some support on issues relating to health and well-being please contact Adele Godsmark on 01603 221812 or adele.godsmark@norfolk.nhs.uk
