EDP Celebrates Local Newspaper Week by Offering Free Papers to Secondary Schools
The EDP is celebrating Local Newspaper Week next month by providing free newspapers to a limited number of schools in the county.
As a special promotion for local High Schools and Academies the EDP is able to provide 200 free copies of the paper every day during Local Newspaper Week, which runs from 9-15 May 2011 - the Saturday issue would be delivered the following Monday. The EDP will be working in conjunction with local newsagents and is inviting headteachers to get in touch as soon as possible if they are interested - the closing date is 29 April. There is a limit on how many schools can be involved and the promotion will be on a first come, first served basis.
Anyone interested should email don.williamson@archant.co.uk
Local Newspaper Week is coordinated by The Newspaper Society and is an opportunity for all 12,000 local papers in the UK to highlight their credentials.
