Find Local Building Firms to Work on Your School
Schools can now use the Build Norfolk website to find a local trader - and search for work experience placements or apprenticeships for students.
Build Norfolk, led by the NPS Group on behalf of Norfolk County Council, is a network of construction clients, major construction companies, subcontractors and public sector organisations working together to develop the local construction industry.
Looking for a trader? You can see accreditations at a glance, post details of the work which is needed and collect quotes from interested firms.
Sign up at www.buildnorfolk.co.uk to get your own secure area from which you can build your own lists of tradesmen, builders and local firms by trade, accreditation or proximity and invite them to quote for work.
You, or your students, can also search for construction-related job vacancies, apprenticeships and work experience placements. Students can also post their CVs and requests for work experience, which can be viewed by the 800-plus member firms.
There is also useful general information for those interested in starting a career in the built environment industry.
Create your free account now - just go to www.buildnorfolk.co.uk and click on 'schools' in the bottom right corner of the home page.
