New Health and Safety Training

This new course may apply to you if you answer yes to any of these questions

  • Do you specify how a new/refurbished workplace will be set out or which materials and equipment will be used?

  • Are you involved in how much money a refurbishment or building project will cost NCC?

  • Do you set timelines and schedules for refurbishment or building projects?

  • Do you work with NPS in relation to projects that they are undertaking on behalf of NCC for refurbishment and construction?

  • Do you approve contractors or set up contracts with construction related companies including electrical, building, gas fitters?

  • Are you part of a project team working on changes to workplaces that include construction related contractors?


  • The Introduction to Construction Design and Management (CDM) is a corporately funded course which applies to employees who are involved in CDM (as detailed in the questions above). Half day courses being run at the County Hall Annexe on 2nd February and 8th March.
