New Eyecare Vouchers Provider and Process
From 1 April there has been a change to both the provider and the process for ordering eye care vouchers.
Provider
From 1 April 2012 eye care vouchers will be provided by Specsavers instead of Eden Red.
Process
The administration of this process remains largely the same. Please click on this link to access the Eyecare Vouchers online form for school staff.
Information about the eligibility for eye care vouchers is still covered under the sections on DSE assessment on PeopleNet.
If you have any questions about the change of provider, please contact Health and Safety. Please note these changes still meet our full obligations under the DSE Regulations
Important:
If you have already received an Eden Red eye test voucher and have not had your eye test as yet, please ensure you do ASAP, as after the 30 June 2012 we will no longer hold the vouchers towards the cost of spectacles if they are required solely for VDU use.
