PRS Spreadsheet Return

PRS have contacted us stating that a number of schools have not submitted the spreadsheet as requested in MI 147/12, although when they have checked, there are classes such as Zumba which would be playing music, run from the school premises.

PRS have clarified that they rarely issue licences to individuals so it is unlikely that any one using the schools premises, outside of the normal running of the school, for anything which involves the playing of music, will be licensed. It is therefore down to each school to provide the information as requested in the spreadsheet.

The original deadline has now passed, but if you have not submitted a return to PRS and have music being played in the school as detailed above, please do so by 12 October 2012.
