Statutory training for EYFS schools and settings
Link: Course ref.pdf
MI sheet 235/12 gave details of the changes to EYFS moderation in 2013. These include the statutory responsibility of the LA to provide training for all schools and settings with children at the appropriate age on the accurate completion of the EYFS profile.
Details of these half day training sessions appear below. Depending on individual circumstances the most appropriate person to attend is likely to be the teacher with overall responsibility for EYFS. Attendance is statutory and free of charge; delegates will not need to bring any materials to the sessions. There is only one place available per school or setting but a pack of materials will be provided to attendees so that the information can be easily disseminated to other colleagues. Places are available on a first come first served basis - please do not book additional members of staff onto other sessions.
