Entries for The John Sweeney Award 2013 are welcome from any projects which have resulted in an improvement to the natural environment in the district, or protection of the local and global environment. This could be through cutting carbon emissions and pollutants, improving natural or green spaces, raising environmental awareness and educating others on the environment, reducing waste or increasing recycling, or even installing renewable technologies.
