Media Handling Seminar for Schools

Chris Kelly's highly-rated media handling seminar is free for schools signed up for support from the County Council's Communications team. Schools not yet subscribing can still do so* by 14 June and be eligible for a place.

The seminar is being held at Hethel Engineering Centre on Friday 12 July 2013 with sessions available in the morning (9am) and afternoon (2pm).

Each seminar (three and a half hours, including a break for refreshments) aims to give an understanding of the modern 24-hour news media, and how to cope when a school is in the news spotlight. Attendance gives access to Chris Kelly's website advice for future reference.

To secure a place, email john.birchall@norfolk.gov.uk as soon as possible (deadline 14 June).

Please title the message 'Media Skills Overview' and indicate the sessions - morning, afternoon - that you would be able to attend, and any preference. Further details will be supplied after the application deadline of 14 June.

*To sign up for Communications team support please email s2s@norfolk.gov.uk.
