Celebrating IDAHO day - International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia - 17th May 2013 and other events for your diary

The Stonewall's Education Champions Programme in Norfolk challenges homophobia and homophobic bullying in schools.

May 17th is International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia. Attached are lesson plans which are age appropriate to help schools celebrate the day. Stonewall has a range of other ideas and resources which might be helpful including suggestions on how to teach the Idaho lesson.


'Celebrating difference - challenging homophobia in primary schools' is a course being held on 22nd May 2013 at Norwich PDC. This is a practical course with top speakers and is appropriate for Reception/Key stage 1 teachers and teaching assistants and Key stage 2 teachers and teaching assistants.
