From Russia with Love: The Return of the Houghton Masters

Limited places still available to explore masterpiece paintings this term

Following considerable demand, Norfolk schools can still apply for a limited number of fully subsidised school visits still available on Wednesdays in June and July and take part in the educational programme, From Russia with Love: The Return of the Houghton Masters.

From Russia with Love is the educational programme developed to support the exhibition and help Norfolk's children, young people and families learn about and appreciate the works of art and the historical figures featured in the paintings.

Each school visit will include an opportunity for pupils to participate in a workshop with the exhibition's artist in residence. The children's ideas, notes, drawings etc will provide additional opportunities for further development back in their classrooms supported by the programme's online educational resources. Schools will also be given a tour of the exhibition.

Each tour can accommodate up to 25 pupils and three teachers per school.

There is also good availability across several dates in September.

The 'From Russia with Love' website, featuring a range of exciting and accessible resources linked to the exhibition for each Key Stage, can be viewed here www.houghtonrevisited.com/education

To book a school visit to the exhibition, teachers are asked to contact Norwich Theatre Royal on 01603 598582 or for more details email education@houghtonhall.com
