Course Aims:

• Recognise and understand the influence of media and pornography on children and young people.
• Consider how to improve the teaching of age appropriate SRE to promote healthy relationships in light of Ofsted's recent review.
• Examine teaching strategies and schemes of work that empower young people to make healthy decisions, challenge peer pressure and rebuff commercialisation and sexualisation.
• Clarify the law and child protection issues relating to sexting and pornography.
