Kickstart - Mopeds for Young Carers: new opportunities
Kickstart, a charity based in Dereham, has successfully piloted a programme to provide five young carers with free mopeds, equipment and training for six months. It is now in the process of applying for greater funds and hopes to provide fifty young carers a year with a moped for one year, with equipment and training. This initiative has the potential to run for a period of three consecutive years.
For this new initiative young carers and young adult carers who would like to be considered for a moped must now be aged between 16-25 years and can live anywhere in Norfolk. If you have any young people in your school or community who might be eligible please share the attached information with them and encourage them to apply.
