Norfolk Premiere of FREE - a ground-breaking Stonewall film for Primary School pupils

Please circulate the attached flyer to staff of KS2 pupils in your schools and advise them of this exciting event. We are delighted to not only be screening this film at Cinema City, Norwich on Friday 27th February 9.30-12 noon, but also to be joined by Rikki Beadle-Blair, who directed and acts in it. Rikki will run a question and answer session with young people after the screening of the films. Feedback from a similar event Rikki attended in Cambridgeshire suggests that young people enjoyed both the film and discussion afterwards.

Ofsted are keen to know how your school is celebrating difference and challenging homophobia and this film enables young people to recognise that it is ok to be different and to accept differences in others whatever they are.

We hope your school will join us. There are a limited number of places so we will book on a first come, first served basis and strictly to the numbers on your booking form.

If you have any specific queries please contact Rita Adair, Senior Lead Educational Psychologist (rita.adair@norfolk.gov.uk or 07917 215202) and to book places go through Carol Burgess (full details on the attached flyer) at: carol.burgess@norfolk.gov.uk by saving the attached document to your desktop first.
