REMINDER - Only a few weeks to do challenging homophobic language survey
I just wanted to give you a last reminder about this important survey as it will end on 27th March 2015. Already we have had several schools take part, but I don't want schools to miss out and know that some may not have seen the information in ecourier previously. We are proud of Norfolk schools' stance on challenging homophobic language and bullying and this survey has been adopted with our permission by other Local Authorities in the country.
Ofsted will be checking to see the extent of homophobic language in a school, this survey will provide your school with a baseline from which you can evaluate the effectiveness of your work. Please don't leave it too late to do. In the future you will be able to access your school's survey results confidentially. We will inform you of the link nearer the time.
The survey is relatively easy to do and all instructions are contained in the MI sheet. There are two different surveys: one for primary and one for survey.
If you have any queries regarding this please do get in touch with Rita Adair.
