A Viking's Guide to Deadly Dragons - February 6th to May 22nd 2016

Exhibition based on Cressida Cowell's How to Train your Dragon books from Seven Stories National Centre for Children's Books.

A wonderful opportunity for Literacy and History, the exhibition includes Cressida's childhood notebooks, drafts and original illustrations, alongside filmed interviews with Cressida. It is packed full of dressing up, role play props, film and audio, interactive elements and unusual spaces to explore and experience. It will give your pupils a fantastic insight into the writing process of these popular stories and films.

There will be a packed programme of events to accompany the exhibition for both schools and families, making the links with our outstanding Viking collections in the museum.

Do not forget that Book Week falls during the exhibition!
