Outreach Support for Children with SLCN

Need support to help address the needs of children with SLCN within your mainstream class/school?

As Norfolk''s SLCN outreach teacher, Tracey Woods can offer support by working alongside TAs and teachers within EYFS, KS1 and KS2 mainstream settings, or can offer training to inform groups of professionals of strategies and suitable activities to help address such needs within schools.

Tracey is able to provide practical support and guidance on developing early receptive and expressive language skills in children who are encountering difficulties acquiring such skills. Although unqualified to address specific speech sound difficulties, Tracey has regular contact with speech therapists so is able to seek such advice if necessary.

Support is available for a fee of £50 to help cover travel and resourcing costs.

Schools can access 'request for outreach' forms (as well as further information on our SLCN outreach service) via the SRB tab on the Browick Rd Primary website, Request for Outreach or phone/leave a message for Tracey Woods at Browick Rd Primary on 01953 603 061.

Alternatively, complete the Norfolk schools website, SRB Request for support form accessed via 'Pupil Needs'tab and then 'Specialist Resource Bases', ensuring that you tick the request for ''SLCN outreach'' box shown on the form.
