GCSE Art students free art event at Norwich Castle
A really exciting Free opportunity for your Year 10 and 11 art students brought to you by Paint Out Norwich and Young Norfolk Arts. Paint Out is an organisation which seeks to encourage young people to raise their eyes and aspirations and join local, celebrated artists in painting what they see, in the moment from a great vantage point in the city of Norwich. Young Norfolk Arts (YNA) is a celebration of creativity by and for young people. YNA opportunities are available throughout the year with a peak of activity in the Young Norfolk Arts Festival.
The Paint Out sessions all happen after the exam period (13th - 15th July 2016) at Norwich Castle Museum. Schools can choose to attend either a morning or afternoon session. All work created will be exhibited in the Forum during the summer and prizes will be awarded in various categories.
This opportunity will be partly funded by seeking sponsorship for each school involved. It will be important to know at this stage if there is any objection to that idea. If enough sponsorship is obtained € help can be offered with transport costs and materials.
