  • Do you want to investigate educational, social, professional and organisational issues?
  • Would you like to acquire skills as an independent researcher, to conduct and design your own research?
  • Would you like to better understand issues related to your everyday work experience and context?
  • Is there a work problem or puzzle to research?

Students are able to conduct their own programme of research over five years. In years one and two students attend teaching sessions in educational theory and research methods in the form of four weekend study blocks and design their research project which they carry out in years' three, four and five. All EdD students work with a supervisory team who will support them throughout their studies.
