Could you inspire the next generation? PGCE Information sessions at the UEA

Could you inspire the next generation?

The University of East Anglia will be holding 2 Information Sessions in October for those interested in training to teach at either Primary or Secondary level:

  • Primary teaching (3-11 years): Saturday 8 October, 9:30-13:00
  • Secondary teaching (11-16 years with post-16 enhancement): Wednesday 12 October, 18:15-20:30

We welcome anyone thinking of a career in teaching to register for an Open Event - from those making a tentative initial enquiry to those who have already made their decision and are on the verge of making their application.

Both sessions will start with a General Information Talk, then there will be the opportunity for those interested to speak directly to subject tutors, current students and newly qualified teachers. Members of the admissions team will also be available to offer advice on all admissions related questions, including:

  • degree subject requirements
  • GCSE and A level grade requirements
  • how to gain school experience
  • the professional skills tests
  • fees, funding and bursary information

For further information and to register their interest, we encourage everyone to visit our website, or contact the PGCE Admissions Team on 01603 592855 or edu.pgce.admiss@uea.ac.uk.
