FOI about BACs and Direct Debit Collection Service ICT software

A number of schools have contacted the Council's Information Management Service and/or Legal Service with regards to a Freedom of Information request asking for details of the BACs and Direct Debit Collection Service ICT software that they use, and further asking for details regarding the contracts (such as value, end date, who the supplier is etc.)

This is a formal Freedom of Information Request, and therefore, each school to have received this request must respond within 20 working days of receipt of the request. In respect of those schools that buy into the Council's ICT services, our advice is that the response should be as follows:

'The ICT services for this school are provided by Norfolk County Council, therefore, the information that you have requested is held by them and not by the School. You may therefore wish to redirect your request to them at information.management@norfolk.gov.uk.'
