Free support and resources for year 5 and 6 primary science from BBC Terrific Scientific

The BBC is offering FREE resources and support through their BBC Learning's Terrific Scientific initiative for Years 5 & 6 pupils. Their aim is to inspire primary children aged 9-11 to get excited about science through a series of classroom-based investigations, online resources, live internet lessons and classroom support to their teachers. It's all designed to help deliver the objectives of the science curricula for this age group across the UK - and it's all free.

Class teachers can upload data to the interactive map and share and compare their results with other classes around the UK. Teachers have to register first, get the key dates into their lesson plans, and BBC Learning will keep in touch with updates and news as more investigations and resources are released.
