Norwich

Is your school passionate about protecting the planet? If so, why not enter the 2018 Norfolk and Norwich Eco Awards?

We're looking for schools that have a fantastic approach to looking after the environment. Whether it's growing your own veg for school dinners, inspiring pupils to look after the planet or installing solar panels, if your school can prove its environmental excellence we want to hear from you.

Why enter?

  • Prizes such as free IT equipment and more
  • Great publicity for your school
  • Winners' trophies
  • Attendance at a fantastic awards ceremony

Officially, applications open for the awards in September, but as we recognise that's a busy time for schools, we're giving you the opportunity to enter now.

Email: eco.awards@norfolk.gov.uk for the application form or more information.

Previous Eco Awards winner Ruth Bullard, Business Manager, from Flegg High school said:
It's always motivating to be recognised when you think you're modelling good practice and it's nice to have that externally validated. It means a lot to our students, our staff and our parents. Everyone was properly thrilled about winning an Eco Award!
