Norwich Castle: Gateway to Medieval England

As you might be aware, Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery has received initial funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to develop proposals for a new project called 'Norwich Castle: Gateway to Medieval England'.

This exciting project will transform the historic Castle Keep, taking it back to its appearance as a spectacular royal palace of Henry I. It will provide an unforgettable visitor experience worthy of its fascinating 900-year history. In 2020 visitors will be able to explore all 5 levels of England's finest surviving Norman castle for the first time, enjoy an action-packed events and learning programme and a 'British Museum Partnership Gallery of the Medieval Period'.

Enhancing the existing offer for schools will be an important part of the project and as such we are collecting the views of teachers through an online survey. The survey has been developed in partnership with Tricolor. Tricolor are a heritage development and design consultancy that have been appointed to help the Castle engage with different people about the project and shape aspects of the funding application. We would be grateful if you could complete the survey and forward the link to any other teaching staff you think would be interested in giving their views.

The survey can be found at the following link: http://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/B1BKU/ Please respond to this survey by 31 July 2017.

To thank you for your time, at the end of the survey you have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win £50 of High Street Vouchers. Terms and conditions apply
