Could your school be an eco-award winner?

Norwich & Norfolk Eco Awards 10 years

Is your school passionate about protecting the planet? If so, why not enter the 2018 Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards?

We're looking for schools that have a fantastic approach to looking after the environment. Whether it's growing your own veg for school dinners, inspiring pupils to look after the planet, or installing solar panels, if your school can prove its environmental excellence we want to hear from you.

East Ruston Primary School was last year's Eco Primary School Winners for the innovative ways they used nature to aid children's learning. Our Eco Secondary School Winners, Flegg High, impressed judges with their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint such as by installing solar panels, a wind turbine and bio-mass boiler. You can read more about last year's winning eco schools here.

Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards 2018 are set to be bigger and better than ever, with more sponsors, prizes and a brand new venue for the award ceremony. All category winners will receive a trophy and certificate, as well as permission to use Eco Awards branding for marketing purposes. The winner of the primary school category will also receive brand new tablet devices for their school, donated by the Eco Primary/Secondary School category sponsor Updata.

To add even more excitement, the esteemed Eco Hero title will be chosen by the public via an online vote for the very first time.
