Could your school be an eco award winner?

Is your school passionate about protecting the planet? If so, why not enter the 2018 Norfolk and Norwich Eco Awards?

We're looking for schools that have a fantastic approach to looking after the environment. Whether it's growing your own veg for school dinners, inspiring pupils to look after the planet, or installing solar panels, if your school can prove its environmental excellence we want to hear from you.

East Ruston Primary School was last year's winners for the innovative ways they used nature to aid children's learning.

Our secondary school winners, Flegg High impressed judges with their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint such as by installing solar panels, a wind turbine and bio-mass boiler.

Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards 2018 are set to be bigger and better than ever, with more sponsors, prizes and a brand new venue for the award ceremony. To add even more excitement, the esteemed eco hero title will be chosen by the public via an online vote for the very first time.

Primary schools could win tablet devices for their schools, donated by Updata.

The awards are hosted jointly by Norwich City Council and Norfolk County Council. The lead sponsor is Vattenfall.
