Would your school like funding of up to £500 to commemorate the centenary of the end of World War 1 in November 2018?

Schools in Norfolk are eligible to apply for funding of up to £500 for educational activities and events to support learning about World War I. Applications are accepted on an eight-weekly basis with the following closing dates:

  • 29 October 2017
  • 29 December 2017
  • 28 February 2018

More details are available on the Norfolk Community Foundation website.

Please note that this is the final year that funding will be available from the Norfolk World War 1 Fund to support community projects and events commemorating the end of WW1 in 2018. There is only £7,000 available, and groups should only expect to receive one grant during the life of this fund. The fund will not support trips and visits of any kind.

The grant fund has been made available by the Norfolk Armed Forces Covenant; Norfolk Community Foundation is managing the grant fund, overseeing applications and issuing grants on their behalf.
