FREE Wellbeing...Well governed Conference & AGM for Governors - Autumn 2017

Good mental health begins in childhood and 50% of mental health problems are established by age 14.

The importance of this as an issue for School Governors was highlighted earlier this year by the joint enquiry by the House of Commons Education and Health Select Committee into the role of education in children and young people's mental health.

The Enquiry emphasised that Governing Boards are responsible for promoting the wellbeing of children and young people and must ensure that they set an ethos and culture which is supportive.

Please encourage your Governors to join the Norfolk Governance Network and Educator Solutions on 11 November to explore more about Governors' role in promoting wellbeing in our schools and hear from Norman Lamb MP and Dr Bianca Finger-Berry about why mental health matters and what as governors we should be doing.

For more information please see the attached programme and also the speakers' pen pictures.

There is no charge for this event. Please click here for details of how to book.
