Count on Norfolk this Christmas - Competition
Believe it or not, we all use maths galore at Christmas! Like working out how many carrots to leave out for the reindeer, what time to put the turkey in the oven, measuring Christmas trees to find one that fits inside the house...
Children can help out with all sorts of calculations, like counting down the days until Christmas Eve, working out change when buying presents or weighing out ingredients for a chocolate yule log.
As part of our Count On Norfolk maths campaign, children under 12 can try our fun festive competition to win a Math Whiz handheld game, a fun way to master basic maths skills. Have a look at our Count On Norfolk web pages to enter or for tips on how families can use maths in fun ways in everyday life.
