Health and Safety Premises Management training

Headteachers must see that someone in their school is responsible for managing each of the key premises safety issues. Some heads will be able to delegate responsibility for some or all of these. In every case, the person who has responsibility must undertake the appropriate training. In each school, therefore, someone must have taken the following training courses:

  • Premises Management 1 - General
  • Premises Management 2 - Asbestos (unless the school was built after 2000 or the asbestos survey has shown no asbestos to be present).
  • Premises Management 1 - Fire.

The training should have been completed within the past three years, however, all three course may be refreshed using a single course if this is taken within three years of the date that the full course was taken.

Course details can be found in the Health and Safety Training Directory on HRInfospace and booked via Educator Solutions on 01603 307760 or via email HRenquiry@educatorsolutions.org.uk, who will check a space is available and process your booking for you.

The course are delivered at King's Lynn as well as County Hall.

Please remember to check that your school's training record for these courses is up to date on MySchool.
