Competition - World War 1

The Royal British Legion, in partnership with 'Never Such Innocence', are holding a competition for people aged 9-16 years old who would like to say thank you to the First World War generation. Young people are invited to submit a poem, song or piece of art that expresses their personal thank you to the people who made such a huge impact on today's world. There are some great prizes up for grabs and you may even have a chance to feature in the Legion's famous events, such as the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, attended by Her Majesty The Queen and members of the Royal Family.

Every entrant will also receive a Certificate of Commendation for taking part.

More details on the Thank You movement and how to enter the competition may be found here.
