Reminder : deadline for completion of the online Speech and Language Therapy service surveys is Sunday 3 June.

Since 2016 Norfolk County Council and NHS Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Groups (North, South, West and Norwich) have jointly commissioned an Integrated Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) service for children and young people in Norfolk. This service is delivered by East Coast Community Healthcare.

The County Council wants to ensure that we have the best possible service in Norfolk within the available funding. Therefore an Independent Review of SaLT has been commissioned, led by Better Communication CIC, a not-for-profit community interest company.

An online survey of professionals at early years settings, schools and organisations who support children & young people with speech, language and communication needs forms a vital part of the Independent Review.

There is also a separate survey for parents and carers of children with SEND. Please can all schools promote the survey to families for them to complete as well.

The deadline for responses for both surveys is Sunday 3 June.

The information that you give us will be used to understand and shape future service provision in Norfolk. We expect the results to be published during the Summer Term.
