Annual Report of Prejudice Related Incidents - Returns still needed
Norfolk County Council has historically collected data in respect of prejudice related incidents and this information has been valuable in informing policy and practice within the LA and appropriate support to schools and educational settings.
This is a reminder of our request from MI Sheet 99/18 - Annual Report of Prejudice Related Incidents, on 6 July 2018 for returns for the academic year 2017/18.
We still need reports from most schools, including those with a 'Nil' return. If you have had no incidents, you will only need to answer the first question on the form before submitting the return.
The closing date for returns for the academic year 2017/18 is Friday 14 September. The link for your annual report can be found here.
Although the Local Authority is now collecting this information annually, it is important that you continue to keep a contemporaneous record and have a clear school/setting process, including information about actions and impact in response.
For more information, including how to decide if it is a prejudice related incident or bullying, please see MI Sheet 99/18 - Annual Report of Prejudice Related Incidents.
