Funded Outdoor Learning Sessions on Marriott's Way

As you may be aware, the Heritage Lottery Funded Marriott's Way Heritage Trail project has been going for just over a year, in which time we have worked with 12 different schools to deliver nearly 70 sessions for pupils around the county. Next academic year, we will be working with a final year Environmental Sciences student from UEA to deliver Field Studies Council-inspired day courses for schools across Norfolk and would be keen to begin to gauge interest and, where appropriate, take bookings.

The sessions on offer will include: team challenges, pond dipping, environmental art, curious creatures and minibeasts, shelter building and survival, and woodland tree ID. These will be based on sites along Marriott's Way, and transport can be organised for schools further than walking distance from these locations. Our existing learning programme (marriottsway.info/learning) will continue to run alongside this new offer and, as before, all sessions are fully funded.
