Win £500 prize money or brand new tablets for your school! The search is on for Norfolk's environmental heroes

Is your school passionate about protecting the planet? If so, why not enter the 2019 Norfolk and Norwich Eco Awards?

We're looking for schools that have a fantastic approach to looking after the environment. Whether it's growing your own veg for school dinners, inspiring pupils to look after the planet, or installing solar panels, if your school can prove its environmental excellence we want to hear from you.

Rackheath Primary School was last year's winners for the innovative ways they used environmental issues to aid children's learning, including an innovative partnership with Next clothing to supply the school with unwanted textile waste.

Our secondary school winners, Reepham High impressed judges with their efforts to grow their own vegetables through their inspiring allotment project. Last year the school produced lots of vegetables including leeks, potatoes, runner beans and onions as well as making more than 100 'jars of joy' chutney.

The awards scheme is free to enter with an easy online application process. Winners receive a trophy and certificate as well as eco awards branding to use for their own marketing purposes.
